We seem to be drawn to the water. I’d guess that over 80% of our adventures are water-centric. Skiing, hiking, motorcycle rides and road trips are the exceptions (but even then water is likely a side-activity.) So although technically many of these entries categorized as “By Sea” are not salt water, I’m taking the artistic license approach and lumping all bodies of water into this category. So in this By Sea category we could have anything from rafting a river to paddle-boarding a pond to the negotiating the high seas off the coast of Tahiti in a tall ship (see above pic from 2008).
